This is very nice Sencha tea!
I like to have two teas every morning, while I read. I prefer lighter tasting senchas but I like long steeps.
I will boil water, then pour it into my mug and let it cool for five minutes. This mug holds 1.75 cups and I will steep one teaspoon for ten minutes. I love the taste and the gentle caffeine buzz from it. Great tea from a great company!

I have tried several teas from Ocha, with sencha, gemai, and kabusecha begin my favorites. They have a clean, crisp, yet mellow taste and are perfect any time of the day.

It’s a good blend to drink all day and not so temperamental with long brewing times. Hot or cold is just fine. It’s a fine taste for the price. It’s good if you want to serve to guests that might not enjoy a more brackish green tea.

I recently ordered the Organic Kabusecha tea (along with several others). This is a lovely tea and I would recommend it highly. I am so pleased with all of the teas that I ordered. Each one had specific brewing instructions for that particular tea, which is really helpful. Most companies that I’ve used before have had the same brewing instructions for all of their green teas. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I purchased the Kabusecha and I love it. I've been drinking green tea for decades, and this is some of the best quality tea that I've ever had. The brew is a beautiful green - the color of honeydew - and the flavor is delicate and delicious. It may be slightly pricier than grocery store tea, but you can brew the same teaspoon of leaves over and over again - I probably brew 5 cups a day from the same tea leaves - so it ends up being well worth the price. I also feel comforted to know that green tea from Japan has lower lead levels than lots of other green tea.

This smooth and delightful tea is a wonderful addition to anyone's tea stash. I'm so delighted to discover Ocha and company Organic Teas. The Japanese version of Organic Gyokuro green tea offers a twist from the traditional Chinese version. I highly recommend this to any tea connoisseur.

All the Ocha & Co. teas I have tried have been stellar - top quality, a wonderful farm growing this wonderfully wise and beneficial plant - much better than any other teas from china or India - very clear why it has won tea awards in Japan - Ocha & Co tea is absolutely delicious. This kabusecha is the tea I find myself drinking on most days. While I enjoy a good cup of hojicha, fukamushicha, or gyokuro, I find that Ocha & Co.'s kabusecha has the perfect balance of umami, grassiness, earthiness, sweetness, and astringency. I like mine a bit on the stronger side, so I brew it for 2:30 minutes with water that is 175 degrees F (about 80 degrees C).

I've tried several different tea from Ocha & Co and Kabusecha is one of my favorites. I'm Japanese and I drink green tea everyday. I've found some great green tea from Japan that I could buy in US, but they are usually very pricey. This Kabusecha is a great quality but with a reasonable price! Highly recommend trying this if you want a good green tea.

I have become a green tea drinker over the past few years. During that time, I have sought out the best organic Japanese green teas out there. I have ordered 4 different kinds of tea from Ocha & Co. All of the teas I have purchased have been great! The last tea, Organic Japanese Kabusecha Green Tea was fantastic! It has a smooth, pleasing flavor and the aroma is the best! I highly recommend that you try this company if you are someone who drinks a lot of green tea and prefer organic teas that have outstanding aroma and flavor. Absolutely vibrant green colour of not even a bit broken but first of all fragrant leaves. Straight and powerful taste, great experience. It's the second pouring, water covering the leaves and from a teapot with a very simple sieve. Thanks!

I am very impressed with the quality of this Kabusecha tea. I find that it has a milder and sweeter taste than Sencha green tea (which I also love and drink daily). I am so impressed with all of the Ocha & Co. green tea that I have tried, but I think this is my new favorite!

The kabusecha is one of the best. I rotate between all the Ocha & Co. green teas all the time and I have to say that it’s comparable to Gyokuro in terms of special taste and delicate flavors. Perhaps more flavor than a Gyokuro. The thing Gyokuro has going for it is the intense umami. Kabusecha has this too but what it lacks in comparison to the Gyokuro it more than makes up for in complex green flavor.

I have been drinking the Organic Sencha; this is my first time to try the Organic Kabusecha. The latter has much more to offer your taste but has a little less of the sencha aroma I so enjoy. I have had a few cups now and I am finding it's sweet spot. Certainly a more complex and delicate tea; I think I will try the Organic Fukamushi Sencha next and see where my happy place is among them. You cannot go wrong with Ocha. They are the most enjoyable teas I have ever had. Each one are excellent in their own ways; and the service is exceptional. What a wonderful thing to be able to have beautiful teas such as these arrive at your front door on the other side of the Ocean!

Exceptional tea!

I drink green tea every day. This tea is fresh, bright green, smooth, not bitter. Love it cold or warm. Makes amazing iced tea.

I've been trying for a long time to find a tea similar to what I drank for several months while in Japan decades ago. I think this is the closest so far! I love the color of both the loose tea and the brewed tea as well. And the smell (and flavor) are wonderfully grassy yet mild. And I can tell this tea has more L-Theanine than most due to the wonderful alert mind it gives me without the caffeine jitters! I admit that it seems a bit pricey, but it's truly a premium quality tea. I'm glad the shipping is included!

This is indeed a very tasteful, rich tea of the finest Japanese tradition. I love the spinach aroma, very natural and inspring. Gary and his team are extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
