I love this tea, I drink it everyday mixed with other herbs I need at the moment. The quality and flavor is exceptional (something I always looks for). I always loved roasted brown rice in my tea and this is especially convenient because it's already mixed. I recommend this to my coworkers and friends everytime matcha or tea is brought up haha. I'm already subscribed because I never want to go with out it :)

I've been drinking green tea for over 20 years, and I must say that this particular Genmai Matcha is hands down my favorite of all time!

This tea has a really pleasing color, scent and flavor. The toasted rice flavor is very evident. The matcha goes in the first steep and second and third brew are also flavorful. Images are of 2nd and 1st brew respectively.

This tea never fails to please me. The flavor is full but not too strong and the roasted rice gives it a rich and nostalgic flavor - homespun but also multi-layered and sophisticated. The clear emerald green color of this tea completes it as a work of art. Make certain you follow the brew directions on the back of the package. It has a very short brew time but the resulting brew is excellent!

A delightful experience

I asked my friend Yumiko if she would recommend an excellent brown rice green tea (genmai cha). She recommended Ocha & Co, so I tried it. Although it was pricier than other gen mai cha that is available in the U.S., it is absolutely, beyond a shadow of doubt worth every penny you will spend on it. When I brewed my first cup, the first delight was irridescent green color of this tea. Then the potent aroma was so gratifying when I took a wiff. The taste is fresh, green, smokey, alive, and delicious. I have been a lover of green tea for the past 40 years sinceI lived in Japan in 1979 and 1980, and this is the best genmai cha I have ever tasted. I was anxious to have my family members try this since they drink green tea for its health benefits but none of them really love it that much. So the other night when I made up a cup for each of them (following the guidlines from Ocha & Co to a tea), they all said "This is excellent, where can I get some of this tea?". I am going to make it easy for them and give it to them all as gifts.

Growing up in Japan I always liked Hojicha, I really like Ocha & Co Hojicha. Toasty note and subtle sweetness, I suggest to follow their instruction for the very first brew. Will order again!

Last month I ordered some green Matcha to Italy; the time it took to get through customs in Milan was so long I had started to have doubts. However, it finally arrived and it was totally worth it! Stunning flavours, subtle yet rich taste, this has definitely made my day. Thank you Ocha, the best green tea I have ever drunk.

I love GENMAICHA GREEN TEA BROWN RICE & MATCHA!!! It has great flavors of all the elements in Genmaicha and Matcha. It has wonderful fragrance as well. This is my morning ritual before I get my day started.

A lovely, light and fragrant tea, and a great idea to blend it with the roasted brown rice and matcha. Everything adds up to a smooth, comforting flavour.
And just like last time, the shipment was handled quickly and efficiently. I tracked it and it arrived in my (European) country in 2 days from the moment I passed the order. What with our customs and our national post, it reached me in 5 days since passing the order. An excellent service to complement great teas. Thank you.

This is my first time trying genmaicha, and it's great. It might just be my new favorite. The toasted brown rice imparts a nice delicate sweetness that I haven't found in other teas. I tend to brew a larger 16 oz tumbler with roughly 1 tablespoon of tea, otherwise following the directions on the pack. I find that ratio works well, and I can still get two good infusions out of it. I will order this again for sure.

After trying few different green teas and flavours, this is my favourite. The tea leaves are of good quality. matcha gives a good flavour and toasted rices adds a totally different but nice hint. I am definitely buying it again.

I have tried several genmaicha teas from Japan and this is by far the best. The flavor is nutty and rich and the aroma fills the room when brewing. Compared directly to a popular competitor there is a clear difference; the competitor is weak and non-aromatic. Both were brewed at 170 degrees for 1.5 minutes as all genmaicha should be. Great customer service from Japan as well.
