Fukamushi Means 'Deep Steamed' in Japanese. The steaming process which is twice as long as usual, breaks down the structure of the leaf and releases valuable healthy nutrients and bioactives such as beta-carotene and Vitamin E into the brew. Deep intense green colour, fuller rounded flavour with distinctive fine-floating tea particles. Rich and mild. Increasing popularity in Japan due to its mild taste and extra health benefits. Growing in the sun increases the amount of the antioxidant Catechins (EGCG) and Vitamins.
CAN BE BREWED COLD
Please Note. The teas has been steamed for a longer period which results in the tea having smaller leaf particles compared to regular Sencha.
This is my 3rd order and all very great. The previous two I bought were organic Fukamushicha and I found them slightly richer in taste. But the regular one is great too.
Love fukamushicha from Ocha and Co. I am a Japanese living in the US. It's hard to get a fresh and good quality green tea where I live. Their packages are vacuum sealed and fresh, the tea has a deep good flavor that I am looking for.
Th is better green tea than i can get from my local specialty japanese grocery
Beautifully green color, a magnificent fruity smell and new nuances on every sip. This tea easily wins people over
This is a delicious Sencha, with good aroma and colour. My wife and I have this tea almost daily. It offers great value and as long as Ocha keep offering such a good deal we will continue to be repeat and happy customers. Speedy despatch too means it arrives in the UK in a week or less.
