This might be my new favorite matcha! This was my first time ordering from this company and I was pleasantly surprised at the fast shipping of my products. Great in lattes and the matcha doesn’t get lost in the milk/syrups. Definitely remains front and center throughout the drink.
This was my first time trying hojicha and I love how roasty the flavor profile is. This powder works great in an iced latte (I like to add a splash of maple or some black sesame). Delicious and froths up really well with a bamboo whisk.

I drink a full cup of matcha everyday twice a day at the office, it’s my daily routine. I’m in love with this matcha, best I’ve had, color is so vibrant, taste is amazing! I like to have two teas every morning, while I read. I prefer lighter tasting senchas but I like long steeps.
I will boil water, then pour it into my mug and let it cool for five minutes. This mug holds 1.75 cups and I will steep one teaspoon for ten minutes. I love the taste and the gentle caffeine buzz from it. Great tea from a great company!

Tea has always been a "comfort" drink for me. In recent years, as I've turned more to coffee, I had forgotten what pleasure could come from a good cup of tea. Organic Fukamushi Sencha Tea did the trick! Brewing it is often the first thing I do every morning. Because the tea is so fine - and its fineness is its greatness - I bought a new glass tea pot with an extra fine mesh metal infuser and it works like a charm. I brew the leave 2-3 times. This is a great tea!
omgggg will definitely be repurchasing from this brand again! i was debating between the kyoto uji and kagoshima matcha powder, and im so glad i went with the kagoshima one 💚im actually really picky when it comes to my matcha powders, so i wasn’t expecting to love this as much as i do 😭 very floral, slightly nutty, creamy, with no hints of astringency at all. such good value for money and genuinely such a high quality matcha!!

Der Tee löst sich problemlos auf, keine komischen Klümpchen entstehen, und die Textur wird schön cremig – besonders empfehlenswert mit Hafermilch. Der Geschmack ist mild und überhaupt nicht bitter, wodurch kein Zucker nötig ist.Man merkt einfach, dass der Tee hervorragende Qualität hat.

It’s a quality product grown from a single source (not blended) from the heart of Japan. Jam packed full of flavour and antioxidants it can be consumed in a traditional brew or if you’re a heretic… a latte or another vulgar drink! In all seriousness if you’re going to the effort then do it properly and thanks to the ultra fine stone grind the powder is very easily dissolved with no clumps or bitty particles and whisks to foam (I use a milk frother). And what about the taste? Well that’s up to you to go thin and light or strong and deep. I’m not an aficionado but it’s somewhere between summer grass clippings and hawthorn with back notes of seaweed in a deep rich green from the high levels of chloroplasts from being grown under shade. Supplied in a robust thick foil and resealable pouch to retain freshness and keep moisture out. Overall it very good quality so don’t waste it in cakes or other trendy trash!
Lovely matcha! Really smooth and a mild, not too bitter-tasting. I think it foams up beautifully and dissolves well, without leaving any sort of a gritty residue. I'm a matcha pleb and prefer mine with milk, but it's the best quality I've personally tried so far (besides the ceremonial matcha I had at a tea house in Tokyo). I'm not sure how this stacks up price-wise to other brands, but you don't use much in each cup so it goes pretty far. Happy with it!

The recent growing popularity of Matcha has generally rekindled a liking for something that I had all but forgotten that I did like! I was fortunate to have Matcha many, many decades ago, in a Japanese restaurant, in Denmark! This did not happen quite by chance, because I was born in Japan. Consequently, my family have tended to enjoy Japanese cuisine over the years, as my late parents lived there for several years from not long after WWII until I was a few years old (so, I lived there too, by default).Then there was a long gap, and I had forgot all about Matcha. The Stone Ground Shizuoka example Reviewed here has been a delight, and I'm firmly a born again Matcha fan, especially a Bullet Proof Matcha made with Butter from Grass Fed cows. I am also a firm Carnivore too, so this fits right in, albeit whilst it is derived from a plant, the quantities are very small, and it's about the only plant matter that I consume.𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄If you would care to view my Images, and watch my Video, these combined may give you a good idea of what to expect. As someone who drinks matcha every day, I'd describe this Ocha & Co. Shizuoka Ceremonial Grade as a fantastic option. Firstly, it comes in a resealable pouch rather than a tin, which is better for freshness since you can squeeze out excess air and reduce oxidation. Tins often trap a lot of air space. That said, I personally prefer tins because I go through matcha quickly enough, and pouches can be a bit messier and harder to store. The pouch itself is on the larger side, but given it's 50g rather than the more standard 30g, that makes sense, and the reseal is a big plus.The matcha itself is sourced from first harvest leaves grown on partner farms in Shizuoka, Japan's largest tea growing region, and is a blend of 70% Yabukita and 30% Asatsuyu cultivar, shaded before harvest in the traditional manner, and shipped in small batches directly from Japan to the UK warehouse. The colour is a bright green, not quite as vibrant/deep as my personal favourite matcha, though I appreciate that's a high bar I'm comparing against. The aroma is soft and slightly smoky, which lines up with the flavour profile: mild, well balanced between sweetness and umami, and not bitter at all. It dissolves easily and cleanly into a fine, smooth foam without any clumping, whether you're preparing it as usucha or pulling it through milk for a latte. Overall, I found that it is a smooth, easy to drink matcha option. It's sweet and delicious, I have found myself gravitating towards it very often lately.
This is a decent quality matcha, it’s easy to work with, finely milled and you can make a good matcha latte with it.It’s easy to whisk, you get a good amount of foam with very fine bubbles. The matcha is a very good, vivid green colour. It’s very flavourful, you definitely can taste the matcha and it’s good hot or cold.You get about 25 servings a packet, if you’re using the recommend 2g per serving which I do think makes the price point good value for money.I’d recommend this for someone getting into matcha that is already used to the flavour, this blend might be a bit strong if you’re just trying it for the first time.
