The premium Sencha green tea is made from the first flush leaves in late Spring. It is the green tea most commonly drunk in Japanese households. Left to grow in the sunshine increasing the Vitamin C and catechin content in the leaf. This high-grade green tea is slightly vegetal and a little earthy. Mild and rich with a golden-green colour. Great as a cold brew too!
This Organic Sencha has a vivid green colour and a fresh, inviting aroma. Rich umami is balanced by a light astringency, giving a mild, refreshing cup that is easy to enjoy every day.

Add the leaves to cold water and leave in the fridge. Sweeter, smoother and less bitter than a hot brew.
Pour hot sencha over a bowl of rice topped with nori, sesame and flaked salmon. Japan's favourite quick comfort meal.
