Discover Our Journey: From Japan to UK

Establishing Our Company in the UK
2024
We expanded into the UK market and quickly became one of the leading references for authentic Japanese green tea. This marked a new chapter in our commitment to deliver high-quality, farm-sourced Japanese teas directly to customers across the United Kingdom.

Expanding into the United States
2018
In 2018, we entered the U.S. market and became one of the early pioneers bringing authentic Japanese green tea directly to American consumers. Our commitment to quality quickly positioned us as a top seller in our product category across the country.

Our Beginnings in Japan
2012
In 2012, we started selling directly to international customers from Japan, operating from our base in Hokkaido and working closely with our family-run tea fields in Shizuoka. We began small, shipping worldwide through international mail and building our community one order at a time.

Ocha and Co
Founded in Japan, Ocha & Co
is dedicated to offering organic Japanese teas grown in the mountains of Shizuoka. We select each tea for its purity, balance, and depth - and ship it fresh, straight from the source. Our goal is simple: to bring you the finest expression of Japanese tea culture, from everyday matcha to seasonal harvests.
