Our green tea originates from high altitude mountain plantations surrounded by forests in the Southern Japanese Alps region of Shizuoka. There, cool ocean breezes coming off of Suruga Bay, combined with the proximity to pristine rivers and abundant rainfall create the ideal micro-climate for high grade green tea. Direct from the origin to our distribution hub in the USA.
We recently have been granted permission to use the Shizuoka Prefecture mark for proof of origin and quality on labels for tea from our plantations - the first tea company to be granted this status.
