Fukamushi Means 'Deep Steamed' in Japanese. The steaming process which is twice as long as usual, breaks down the structure of the leaf and releases valuable healthy nutrients and bioactives such as beta-carotene and Vitamin E into the brew. Deep intense green colour, fuller rounded flavour with distinctive fine-floating tea particles. Rich and mild. Increasing popularity in Japan due to its mild taste and extra health benefits. Growing in the sun increases the amount of the antioxidant Catechins (EGCG) and Vitamins.
CAN BE BREWED COLD
Please Note. The teas has been steamed for a longer period which results in the tea having smaller leaf particles compared to regular Sencha.
Delivered timely and enjoying your tea every time. Thanks!!
The shipment was very smooth apart from great tea flavors based on my father-in-law's feedback. Will definitely buy tea from Ocha & Co. again!
I lived in Japan for many years and developed a love for Japanese sencha green tea. I can buy pretty good sencha in Asian grocery stores in Maryland, but there aren't any near my home, so when my cache gets low, I start to fear the coming deprivation. Enter Ocha & Co. They save the day for me--authentic flavor, fair pricing, excellent service and friendly service. My last order came so quickly I did a double-take. This is a very well-run company--thank you so much, Ocha & Co., because you the kind of company we are so in need of in this world.
We really like it taste is good
This is a delicious green tea that brews very well at 175 F for multiple brews. Very tasty stuff.
