Ocha & Co. Japanese Kyoto Uji Matcha Green Tea Powder

KYOTO UJI MATCHA GREEN TEA POWDER

Kyoto Uji Matcha is our highest grade matcha, prepared from young first flush green tea leaves at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of the Japanese tea ceremony. Mild, mellow with a slightly sweet aftertaste and none of the bitterness found in lower grades. A top quality Matcha - the closest you can get to a ceremonial grade but comes without the price tag. Vibrant, green color in the cup.

A delight!

It’s perfectly balanced in my opinion. Good all around. I’ll be ordering more. Side note: Occasionally I will make a latte with Oat Milk using about 50% more Matcha in the recipe.

Great value!

The Kyoto Uji was the first bag of matcha that I bought for myself and since then I've tried a couple of others to see if I save a few bucks but I always keep coming back to it. Constistently bright green and subtly sweet. Very good price point. Definitely will continue to buy this product!

Huh wow

Well ive tried this tea and like the title that was the first thing i said when i took a sip. I bought 2 and went through one already this matcha isnt bitter and if you use the chashaku (scoop) you can easily over do it, i use only one chashaku then heat the water to 170-175F° and the flavor is great ! I have made the mistake of overdoing the heat by one degree the flavor becomes bitter so dont do what i did. And when i want some a bit sweet i use one tablespoon per every cup of tea. Very great stuff, im looking at the other matchas already they all look good.
