This unique retro-style Japanese green tea shop was originally an old stone warehouse called a 'Kura' in Japanese. It is called 'Tokiwa' after the old iron bridge of the same name next to where it is located. The shop`s speciality is a custard or red azuki bean-filled waffle in the shape of the bridge. Difficult to resist if you are passing by. Each room is decorated with old curiosities from the 50s and 60s such as an old black and white television and formica chairs and tables. They even have a shop selling candies that your grandparents might have eaten as kids.
